The Read Answer Applet is the module used to view the students answers that has been saved on the server. NOTE! The answers to a question page is saved on the server only if the page was created in feedback mode Save. See Make Page Applet for details.
Quick guide
Select the appropriate link (depending on the browser) from the systems start page. The Applet will start to load to your browser, please be patient as the loading might take a while, depending on your Internet connection. When loaded a username/password window will be showed. Enter the user name and password given to you by the system administrator and press the Ok button. After approximately 5-10 s the subject select list will display the courses that you have access to, double-click on the subjects which question pages you would like to create/modify. After a few seconds the Applet will have loaded the necessary information from the server and you may start working with it.
The ReadAnswerApplet displays the questions and the student replies in a way similar to the MakePageApplet. The questions and the replies are displayed on the left, on the right there are two list one for selecting the question page and one for selecting the students.

The Controls are easy to use. Choose the page in the Page Select list and the student in the Student Select list . The students are displayed either with there cedula (even though in Fig. 2 there are a bit short) or with there names. You can select the way they are displayed by clicking on the Name Switch.

For each page you can look at an overview of the students replies by selecting the overview switch. To see all the answers to all the pages press the result summary button, a primitive Html pages will be displayed in a new browser window
The Total panel give information about the selected student answers on all pages.
The Current panel gives information about the selected students answers to the currently selected question page. In future versions more statistics may be added, e.g. information about the average of student answers to a specific page etc. etc.

Question page type specific features
As Java is a relative new technology, there are still numerous bugs and strange things could occur when using it. The following is highly recommended when using the applet.
